Hey guys! It's Bella Bree here and I am super excited to share a new series I made called Indifferent. I already made Chapter 1 and Chapter 2. I'm so excited to share this with you guys and get your feedback on it. Basically, it's supposed to be a romance/adventure story but hey I'm getting there! :D
So, the main character is Layla Williams. I think Layla is the most cutest thing ever! So, without further ado, here is Chapter 1.
*Chapter 1*
It’s just awkward. The first time you
meet that one person you actually LIKE, but when you think of something to say,
all that comes out is gibberish? But, he likes you anyway? Kind of weird but,
I’m lucky. At least I would say from time to time. Well, maybe I really am. I
got really lucky, magic happened and here I am today. And I am gladly taken. I
was an awkwardly shy girl, until the events that ‘appeared’. Shots were fired
and magical things happened I guess. But, how did this all happen? Well, let’s
start with how I began. My name is Layla Williams. I am 15 years old. I go to
Caragon Prep. I live with my dad, younger sister, and puppy Rocky. You’re
probably wondering, where’s my mom? Not to be a total sob story, but she died
when I was 5. So, yeah, another shot fired. That’s my mini bio.
I woke up at
the smell of bacon. “I just love Mondays.” I rushed down the stairs to see my
dad frying up another batch of bacon. “Good morning dad.” “Morning sweetie,” he
replied. “What time is it?” I asked. Today was my first day for Caragon Prep,
so I didn’t want to be late. “You woke up just on time.” He said. You wouldn’t
believe how relieved I was. “I’m going to freshen up for the day.” I took a
bite out of the bacon. “It tastes good. Thanks dad.” I rushed off to the
bathroom so I wouldn’t have to hear him telling me about brushing my teeth
before eating. It’s a habit of mine. It’s better for me to actually taste the
food and judge it before actually eating and be disgusted. After showering with
my lavender soap, I dried myself and mixed up my two favorite skin lotions,
Aveeno and Lubriderm, I ran off to my room to change into my school uniform. My
dad said that the school understands what us teenagers want, so they allow us
to wear whatever we want on certain days. After getting ready, I went to the
bathroom to brush my teeth (just so Dad doesn’t complain again). I dropped
myself into the kitchen chair and dug into my breakfast. ‘Mmm, pancakes and
bacon.’ “Well, I’m going to go to school now.” My dad kissed my cheek. “Have a
nice day, honey.” “Thanks dad. Tell Annabelle that I said for her to have a
good day too.” “I will be sure to.” He said. I walked out of the house. And
once I’m outside of the house, my identity changes.
